Should Americans Be Ordered to Fight in a War Started by Israel?

TOPIC: On 29 Feb 2026, after a senior Iranian nuclear arms negotiator departed Washington DC back to Iran with an agreement for his country's leadership that would ensure the world that Iran had no nuclear arms ambitions, the nation of Israel unilaterally launched a surprise missile and aircraft attack on the Iranian homeland. Within hours of Israel's unprovoked and surprise attack on Iran, the President of the United States who refused to serve in the U.S. military himself during the Vietnam War era, ordered American naval forces to join with Israel in its continuing attacks on Iran.

No member of the Trump family, since its first emigration to the United States in 1885, has volunteered, nor after being drafted, served in the U.S. Armed Forces. -- END OF TOPIC
